Dennis Banks – Chairman

Dennis Banks has extensive experience as a board member having served on both listed and unlisted company boards. Dennis is currently a director of RAC Holdings Pty. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Automobile Club of WA, and is also Chairman of RAC Mortgage Find Pty Ltd and of the group’s Internal Audit committee. Dennis is also a past president of the RACWA. 



Dennis also has extensive experience in the financial services industry, with consulting and portfolio investment activities covering the breadth of the Managed Funds Industry. Dennis joined Sealcorp Holdings Ltd where he was responsible for the design, development and operation of the Master Trust facilities of ASGARD Capital Management Ltd. Dennis was also responsible for the legislative and compliance obligations of ASGARD. Subsequently, Dennis was invited to serve on the Compliance and Audit Committee of Flexiplan Australia Ltd, another leading Master Fund in the retail investment product sphere.



More recently, Dennis was a founding Director and shareholder of Benchmark Debtor Finance Pty Ltd. Benchmark has been successful in establishing itself in the Western Australian market and is now expanding throughout the Eastern states. Its focus is the provision of factoring and invoice discounting services with a strong client service ethic. 



Dennis was previously a director of iiNet Limited which was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1999. iiNet is one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the Australian and New Zealand market. Denis joined the board of iiNet during the listing process and stood down in November 2003 following the merger of iiNet with iHug, a similar, New Zealand based business.

Dennis is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dalton Gooding – Non-Executive Director

Prior to establishing Gooding Pervan in March 1998, Dalton was a Partner of Ernst & Young for 14 years. During this time he was a member of the National Council of Ernst & Young for 4 years and Divisional Director of Business Services in Perth for 12 years.

Dalton practices primarily in the areas of privately owned businesses and high net worth individuals with provision of tax advice and business consulting and has a substantial number of directorships.

Over a period of 26 years, Dalton has developed very strong relationships with his clients and has become closely involved with their businesses. Dalton’s areas of expertise include income tax, business restructuring, business acquisitions, general business advice and company directorships.

Rob Scott – Non Executive Director

Rob Scott is a Chartered Accountant with 35 years experience in the profession as an adviser on corporate services and taxation with major accounting firms KMG Hungerfords and Arthur Andersen. Rob currently consults on corporate structuring and taxation planning to Gooding Pervan Chartered Accountants. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. Rob is also a member of the Institute of Company Directors.

In 1995, Rob retired as an International Partner of Arthur Andersen and founded a start-up company to develop remote monitoring technology. During his tenure as Executive Chairman, he successfully co-coordinated the sale of the company to a listed vehicle in 2000.

Rob is a director of various private companies involved in private investments, particularly in real estate development. He also serves on the Board of the following listed public companies as a non-executive director;

Chairman of Amadeus Energy Pty Ltd - Amadeus has approximately one hundred and fifty producing oil wells in Texas, USA. Mr Scott has served as Chairman of this company since 1996. He is also the Chairman of two associated companies being bioMD, involved in the development of medical devices, and Australian Renewable Fuels Pty Ltd, which is in the final stages of planning the first bio diesel plant in South Australia.

Homeloans Ltd - Homeloans Ltd was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in March 2001 and is Australia’s only listed mortgage origination company. Homeloans Ltd currently has in excess of $4 billion of funds under management and has operations throughout Australia.

Stephen Brown – Director, CEO

Steve Brown has an extensive technical, marketing and management background in the field of software design and development. Formally trained as a software programmer, he has had a diverse career encompassing many aspects of the IT industry and has been actively involved in the hardware and software sectors of the computer industry for over 15 years.

Steve’s career background has included founding several high technology companies, managing technology, internal systems and outsourcing divisions for several corporations and consulting to technology start up organisations particularly in the technical systems development of e-commerce, electronic payment and point of sale applications.

Due to his extensive systems and marketing background, Steve was amongst the pioneers of Internet and Virtual Private Network (VPN) development within Australia. In 1995, he established one of Australia’s first Internet Service Providers. The company experienced exponential growth and was soon bought out by a larger ISP firm. Steve has since consulted to numerous Internet Service Providers within the Australian marketplace, primarily in the fields of internal technical systems, marketing strategy and distribution of Internet access products.

Steve was the founder, designer and architect of the world’s first Java based end-to-end mass market POS system, in conjunction with Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corporation. This project was the world’s largest Java development ever undertaken by Sun Microsystems.

Steve also established one of Australia’s first Independent Switching Organisations (ISO’s), capable of performing processing services for up to half of Australia’s total credit and debit card transactions.

Using his technical and credit expertise, Steve has applied his vast experience and knowledge to launch Premium Credit Finance and he plays an active role in driving the strategies of business to deliver value to both customers and their clients.
